Farmer sitting on log
Japanese American Farmers ﷯ Many of the Japanese Americans who were relocated to the internment camps were farmers, and lived in rural California. Taken away from their farms and way of life, these farmers tried their best to stay busy and be productive. However, most of the internment camps were in dusty, undesirable areas where farming is tough, and many farmers had no farms to return to after they were released. How hard would it be to be forced out of your home and never see it again?
